CANCER SUPPORT IV THERAPY

At Music City Drip Bar, walking alongside patients on their cancer recovery journey has become one of our greatest honors.

We believe in supporting the body’s innate capacity to heal — providing safe, functional IV therapies that complement conventional care and restore strength, energy, and cellular vitality.

Functional IV Support for Cellular Healing

Our approach focuses on helping the body heal from the inside out, supporting the body’s natural healing systems.

Each therapy is designed to enhance antioxidant capacity, restore mitochondrial energy, and create conditions less favorable for abnormal cell growth.

Two key nutrients—Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA)—work together to promote cellular repair, detoxification, and immune balance.

High-Dose Vitamin C Therapy

Functional Benefits

  • Supports cellular detoxification and repair

  • Enhances immune and antioxidant capacity

  • Promotes tissue healing and post-treatment recovery

  • Helps maintain healthy inflammation balance

  • Encourages natural collagen formation

At therapeutic doses, intravenous Vitamin C behaves very differently from oral supplementation.

When given through an IV, it reaches plasma concentrations that activate a pro-oxidant effect within abnormal or stressed cells—creating hydrogen peroxide at the cellular level.

Healthy cells easily neutralize this through natural enzymes, while damaged or metabolically abnormal cells cannot—making the therapy selectively supportive of the body’s healing process.

Beyond its cellular-targeting activity, Vitamin C supports collagen synthesis, strengthens connective tissue, and helps create physical barriers that slow unwanted cell growth or spread.

It replenishes antioxidant reserves throughout the body and promotes the production of immune-regulating compounds that aid recovery, energy, and resilience.

Clinical Approach

Every infusion at Music City Drip Bar is guided by your provider and individually titrated to your tolerance and goals.

Our Vitamin C is sourced from the highest-quality, non-GMO ingredients and is always preservative-free, corn-free, and tapioca-based.

We begin with a lower dose to establish safety, then gradually adjust between 25 – 75 grams based on serum levels and response.

Each session lasts approximately 45 – 75 minutes.

A magnesium buffer is added to enhance comfort and reduce sensitivity at the infusion site.

High-Dose Vitamin C can be used as a stand-alone restorative therapy or as part of a broader functional plan for immune support, detoxification, and cellular renewal.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) Therapy

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a naturally occurring antioxidant and cofactor essential for cellular energy metabolism and detoxification. Unlike most antioxidants, ALA is both fat and water-soluble, enabling it to penetrate and protect every part of the cell — including the mitochondria and nervous system — where oxidative damage often begins.

At therapeutic doses, intravenous ALA enhances mitochondrial energy production, promotes oxygen utilization, and reduces oxidative stress throughout the body. It also regenerates other antioxidants, including Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and glutathione, amplifying their protective and restorative effects.

ALA is widely used in integrative medicine to support patients with oxidative stress, neuropathy, metabolic imbalance, and chronic fatigue — and as part of functional cancer support protocols due to its ability to promote apoptosis (programmed cell death) in abnormal cells while safeguarding healthy tissue.

Clinical Approach

ALA infusions at Music City Drip Bar are customized to the individual and often paired with Vitamin C for enhanced antioxidant synergy.

  • Infusions are administered slowly over 45-60 minutes for optimal absorption and tolerance.

  • Typical dosing ranges from 300–600 mg IV, titrated based on your clinical response.

By restoring mitochondrial integrity and promoting balanced detoxification, ALA therapy supports deep cellular renewal — improving energy, clarity, and resilience from the inside out.

Functional Benefits

  • Restores and regenerates other antioxidants (Vitamin C, Vitamin E, glutathione)

  • Supports mitochondrial energy production and oxygen utilization

  • Reduces oxidative stress, inflammation, and cellular damage

  • Promotes detoxification and assists in heavy metal chelation

  • Aids in nerve repair and reduces neuropathic discomfort

  • Enhances metabolic balance and insulin sensitivity

The Synergy Between Vitamin C and ALA

When used together, High-Dose Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid create a uniquely powerful therapeutic pairing.

Vitamin C acts as a direct oxidative stress modulator, targeting abnormal cells through hydrogen peroxide generation, while ALA works inside the mitochondria to restore oxygenation, regenerate Vitamin C, and recycle spent antioxidants.

This dynamic combination strengthens the body’s natural defenses, enhances detoxification, and promotes cellular environments less favorable to abnormal growth — supporting recovery, resilience, and long-term wellness.

Therapeutic Plans, Pricing, & Packages

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) Infusion

(Preservative-free)

Each Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) infusion is titrated to achieve pro-oxidative therapeutic levels—a carefully controlled dose range that promotes selective oxidative stress within abnormal or damaged cells, while supporting mitochondrial repair and detoxification in healthy tissue.

This mild, transient pro-oxidative effect is what triggers the body’s regenerative response, stimulating antioxidant enzyme production and restoring redox balance naturally.

Each session is tailored to enhance oxygenation and metabolic repair at the cellular level.

Therapeutic Plans Include:

  • Provider-supervised titration and monitoring

  • Individualized dosing schedule based on clinical response

  • May be paired with Vitamin C for synergistic antioxidant therapy

High Dose C + ALA Synergy Therapy

High-dose IV Vitamin C and IV Alpha Lipoic Acid work synergistically through complementary redox pathways. Vitamin C delivers a brief, targeted oxidative effect that selectively targets abnormal or stressed cells, while ALA restores antioxidant reserves and supports mitochondrial energy recovery. Together, they strengthen the body’s defenses, promote cellular repair, and help create an internal environment less favorable to abnormal cell growth—all while being individualized to the client’s tolerance and goals.

Why they pair well -

  • At high intravenous concentrations, Vitamin C transitions from an antioxidant to a pro-oxidant, generating hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) within the extracellular space. These are concentrations that cannot be achieved through oral supplementation. This brief pro-oxidative pulse selectively stresses abnormal or metabolically compromised cells—those with weaker antioxidant defenses - making the internal environment less favorable for abnormal growth, while leaving healthy tissue unharmed. Research shows that ALA helps prevent the metastasis of cancer by creating a reduction in the action of certain key enzymes used to penetrate tissues by tumors, while decreasing the growth of new blood vessels that supply cancer cells. ALA has been shown to enhance oxygen production within cancer cells, which is significant because cancer cells often suffer from mitochondrial dysfunction and typically survive in low-oxygen environments. By boosting oxygen levels in these cells, ALA can trigger genetic processes that lead to the death of these mutated cells. Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) supports mitochondrial function, recycles spent antioxidants (including Vitamin C and glutathione), and helps restore healthy redox balance after the therapeutic “push.”

This advanced dual-infusion program integrates high-dose Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid in a clinically sequenced manner designed to optimize both oxidative and restorative effects.

Our team follows a precise, evidence-based protocol developed to support immune balance, cellular repair, and mitochondrial function—always with individualized dosing and careful clinical oversight. Each therapy is performed under direct supervision by a licensed medical provider and guided by laboratory monitoring to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is then introduced to regenerate antioxidants, restore mitochondrial energy production, and enhance cellular recovery.
